Infertility and Illness Radio Link
I've been talking about National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week since my very first post here. Well, NICIAW is finally upon us and I had the joy of talking about Medication, Illness, Fertility and the Desire for Motherhood with Rest Ministries founder, Lisa Copen this afternoon. If you missed the live broadcase, please turn in to the archived program at www.blogtalkradio.com/invisibleillnessconf/2008/09/09/Medications-Illness-Fertility-and-the-Desire-for-Motherhood.

Jenni,
I'm listening to your amazing blogtalkradio program right now!
Thank you so much for posting on my blog and mentioning your talk, which I had missed when it was broadcast live earlier today.
I'm so grateful that I can listen to it now on archive!
Like you, I have been through numerous chronic illnesses and I found your journey, as described, to be particularly compelling.
Your radio program is just wonderful and I can't wait to write a post about it on my blog!

Hi -- I listened to you on the ici blot talk radio program. You never talked about how you managed to pay for everything. In the end, I was unable to pursue anymore IVF or adoption because of money issues. You stressed a lot that if you have the desire to have a child, then it is still God's will. I'd also like to point out -- there are some of us for whom God decided children were the wrong path. I wish you'd said a bit more about that. We childless in the ici community are really the hardest hit on this issue. While I can accept it wasn't God's will -- society can't. Please keep us childless people in mind when you talk about the glory of parenthood. We are also blessed.
Thank you for bringing National Invisible Illness Week to my attention. My sweet, beautiful five-year old niece is diabetic. Our whole family deals with this invisible illness every day.
